The Department of English seeks to provide its students with quality education in the English language, linguistics, literature and translation. It also strives to have its students attain language proficiency, as well as the academic and professional skills conducive to success in the job market.

We aspire to be a national and regional leader in the field with the ultimate goal of becoming a central attraction to academicians, induced by academic, cultural, and professional resources.
