NFPA Certified Instructors deliver the courses and Certification Programs

Option 1: Certificate courses on NFPA standards:

These one‐week long courses designed by NFPA (National Fire Protection Association of USA) and delivered by NFPA approved Instructors will increase the understanding, application and proper use of important NFPA fire protection codes and standards which include:

NFPA-1.jpg
  1. NFPA 1: Fire Codes
  2. NFPA 13: Standard for the Installation of Sprinkler Systems
  3. NFPA 20: Standard for Installation of Stationary Fire Pumps for Fire Protection, and
NFPA 25: Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water‐Based Fire Protection
  4. NFPA 72: National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code
  5. NFPA 101: Life Safety Code
  6. NFPA 70: National Electrical Code (NEC)
  7. NFPA 70E: Standard for the Electrical Safety in Workplace

A "certificate of educational achievement" is awarded after the completion of an NFPA certificate program. It recognizes that an individual has successfully completed the requisites of a one-time educational course or training program. NFPA certificate programs are not what are generally known as professional certifications. While an NFPA certificate of educational achievement is a valuable recognition of educational achievement that can enhance your professional development, there is no professional or other credential associated with a certificate and certificate holders may not claim to be certified, licensed, accredited, or registered to engage in a specific occupation or profession. They are issued for NFPA code courses like NFPA 1, NFPA 13, NFPA 20, NFPA 25 NFPA 72 & NFPA 101.

Option 2: NFPA Certification programs:

The following certification options are in offer:

  1. (1)Certified Fire Inspector I (CFI I)
  2. (2)Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS)
  3. (3)Certified Fire Plan Examiner (CFPE)
The programs require pre‐approved applications by each candidate. The certification requires completion of a practicum of exercises before the final certification. The center offers four 6‐hour‐long classroom seminars leading to the full‐day practicum of exercises, on day 5.

    Trainee Background
  • Professional engineers,
  • College graduates of technician programs, or
  • High school leavers with job related experience.

Professional certifications are typically programs that certify professional or occupational competence and require certain prerequisites such as education, years of experience, successfully passing an examination, and ongoing eligibility requirements (such as retesting or participating in a minimum number of educational activities). They are issued for certification programs like CF1, CFII, CFPS and CFPE. These certification programs require pre-approved applications from NFPA for registered participant before commencement of NFPA Certification Programs as per requirement from NFPA. Certification applications must be received 60 days before the scheduled date of the certification seminar. The Certification programs require completion of a practicum of exercises before final Certification.
