A Job creation ceremony was held at Jubail Industrial College in February 2020 under the patronage of His Excellency Engineer, Mustafa AlMahdi, the Chief Executive officer of the Royal Commission in Jubail, and in the presence of the General Manager of Education in Jubail Dr. Ali Assiri. SABIC, being the main partner for the Royal Commission Education Sector, made a presentation on the company's role in creating jobs for Saudi youth in alignment with the Saudi Vision 2030, also recognizing and appreciating the fruitful and long lasting partnership with the colleges and institutes sector in Jubail. 

The event was a great opportunity for industry representatives to meet with Jubail Industrial College, under one roof to share knowledge and help to fill the technical training gap for industry. The Managing Director of Jubail Industrial College, Dr. Khaled Salem Al-Harbi, delivered an opening speech,  in which he welcomed the attendees and re-emphasized the successful partnership between JIC and SABIC and highlighted the renowned and distinguished training programs that are being offered by Jubail Industrial College to local industries to meeting their training expectations. The close engagement with industries helps Jubail Industrial College to be a leader in quality training programs that will meet future demands.
