Dr. Eid M. Al Hajri, JIC Managing Director, inaugurated the new JIC ISA Training Center for Control and Automation Engineering on October 5, 2016 at Jubail Industrial City. This center, which comes with the state-of-the art equipment, new computers, digital projector and internet access, is a noble  initiative of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology in JIC.

During his opening remarks, Dr. Al Hajri highlighted the essence of this center. He mentioned that JIC ISA center is the way forward to bridge the gap between professional experience and certification. He consequently called on all stakeholders to support the effort of localization of international-standard training and to bring modern technology to the region.

He also appreciated the contribution of the International Society for Automation to establish this center in Jubail industrial College.

On his part, Mr. Patrick Gouhin, ISA Chief Executive Officer in USA, said that ISA will continue to give support to JIC to broaden its regional contribution and facilitate teaching, learning and management of different technologies.
