JIC AND JTI CELEBRATE THE GRADUATION OF 104 SABIC TRAINEES BATCH 9 IN BASIC OPERATIONS TRAINING PROGRAM

Jubail Industrial College, in partnership with Jubail Technical Institute, organized the graduation ceremony for the 9th batch of trainees from Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) in Basic Operations Training Program delivered by JIC and JTI.

Sixty (60) trainees were trained at Jubail Industrial College for a period of 54 weeks which were covered in two phases. The first phase was the study of English language that lasted for a total of 36 weeks, spread out in four levels with a duration of 9 weeks each. The second phase was the technical training part which was covered in a period of 20 weeks. Lastly, JIC takes pride in educating 1,446 SABIC employees from previous batches in the same training program.

On the other hand, Jubail Technical Institute also trained forty-four (44) apprentices from SABIC. The program at JIC lasted for 56 weeks, which was delivered also in two phases - English phase for 36 weeks and the practical phase for 20 weeks.

The ceremony for the 9th batch was well attended. Dr. Eid Mohammed Al-Hajri (JIC Managing Director), Dr. Saad Awwad Al-Harbi (Acting Director of JTI), JIC and JTI Academic Heads and faculty, and a number of SABIC's corporate leaders and training officers headed by Engineer Abdullah Fouad Al Balawi, Director General of SABIC Human Resources Department, graced the occasion.

Dr. Eid Al-Hajri and Dr. Saad Al-Harbi both delivered inspiring speeches and congratulated the graduates for their hard work and efforts to complete the program. SABIC representative also delivered a powerful message, thanking JIC and JTI for providing the technical programs that suit the business needs of SABIC and its affiliates. He also encouraged the graduates to work hard in the field and apply the disciplines they learned from JIC and JTI in various work systems and procedures.
