Under the patronage of Dr. Eid M. Al-Hajri, JIC Managing Director, Jubail Industrial College (JIC) and the Jubail University College (JUC) started the registration procedures for freshmen students joining the Semester 371 of the Academic Year 2016-2017. The registration was conducted at the multi-purpose halls of the new English Language Institute building for a period of 5 days starting on August 21, 2016.

Around 1,700 students were accepted and enrolled in various academic programs of both institutions. And as a usual process, the new students underwent several procedures in order to be finally admitted. These include medical examination, student data entry in the Students Information Systems (SIS), image capturing and printing of Student ID card, issuance of textbooks, issuance of college uniforms, and a test to determine the students' level of English.

Further, the new intakes also viewed an Infographics video that highlights the rules and regulations, including the disciplines, implemented by the Students Affairs. This makes the delivery of information easier, clearer, and more accurate for the students. It is worth mentioning that Jubail Industrial College is the first educational institution in the Kingdom to use this technique.

A number of staff from the Students Affairs and from other departments of the College facilitated the registration. Jubail Industrial College wishes all the new students all the best.
