This is aimed at ensuring that all programs meet the quality standards set by the profession. It will require JIC to continually assess, evaluate and improve its curricula based on feedback from different program stakeholders, and hence enable JIC to realize its mission of providing quality education and training in Engineering Technology. In fulfilling the above objective, JIC will require meeting the nine TAC accreditation criteria relating to Students, Program Educational Objectives, Student Outcomes, Continuous Improvement, Curricula, Faculty, Facilities, Support and Program Criteria.

  • Third: Arrange on-campus visit by ABET evaluators to (a) meet with students, faculty and administrators, (b) inspect classes/ laboratories/ workshops and displays.

  • Fourth: Evaluators submit report to TAC for evaluation and decision.
