As per the start of the second academic semester, Jubail Industrial College welcomed (1,020) new students on February 20, 2010.

Dr. Mosleh H. Al-Otaibi welcomed the new students and gave a fatherly speech and advice them to work hard. Furthermore, the Deputy of Educational and Training Affairs, and the Deputy of Students Affairs gave an orientation on the rules, regulation & guidelines to them.

At the end of the program, a play focusing on the educational environment, was presented by some of the JIC senior students which was a clear indication of how involve the students are in the different activities at JIC.
